SHOLARSHIP:<br />
He holds a BSc. (Mathematics/Statistics) Degree, MSc. (Statistics) Degree, and PhD (Statistics) Degree, all from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He is a Member of Nigeria Statistical Society (NSS), and an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Operations Research of Nigeria (INFORN).<br />

RESEARCH:<br />
Dr. John Effiong Usen has carried several independent and collaborative studies with colleagues and students, the results of which are published in reputable local and international journals. His research interests in Statistics and Mathematics span the areas of Generalized Linear Models, Response Surface Optimization, Statistical Quality Control, Distribution Theory, and Transportation Problems (in OR).<br />

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES<br />
He is proficient in the usage of MS Office and statistical data analysis packages (such as MINITAB, SPSS, GENTSTAT, DOE etc.). He also possesses knowledge of Q-Basic, Python, C++ and JAVA Script programming languages. >
