Mr. Bassey Emmanuel Elijah is a seasoned academic and practitioner in the field of Estate Management. A chartered estate surveyor and valuer, he is currently a member of the academic staff in the Department of Estate Management at the University of Cross River State, Nigeria. Mr. Bassey has taught modules in property valuation and urban land economics at the undergraduate level.
Mr. Bassey holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and a Bachelor's degree with honors from the University of Cross River State (formerly Cross River University of Technology). His research interests span real estate performance analysis, urban and housing development, urban land economics, and sustainable development. Mr. Bassey has published scholarly articles in reputable international and local peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Africa Real Estate, the African Journal on Land Policy and Geospatial Sciences, and International Real Estate Studies. He has also presented academic papers at international conferences, including in South Africa, and local conferences, among others. >
