Dr. Onah Ikechukwu F

Dr. Fidelis I. Onah had his early education at Igbo-Eze Secondary School, Enugu-Ezike, Enugu State, Nigeria (1979 - 1983) and the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State, Nigeria; where be he obtained a National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (1983 - 1985). He received his B.Eng (1996) and M.Eng (2002) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Enugu, Nigeria; and his PhD degree (2012) in Computer Science from the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, Nigeria.

He has been teaching in many tertiary institutions across Nigeria for over 28 years now. He was Head of Department of Computer Engineering, Enugu State University of Science and Technology (2011 - 2013) and the Head of Department of Computer Science, University of Cross River State, Calabar, Nigeria (2016 - 2018). He was also an Adjunct Lecturer (2004 - 2007) in the Department of Computer Science, Ebonyi State University. He is a COREN registered Engineer and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers.

Dr. Onah is the author of over 10 books in the field of Computer Science. He has also published more than 35 research papers in various reputable journals nationally and internationally. His research interests at the moment include Mobile Computing, Digital Security in Network Environments, Blockchain-based Hyperledger Fabric Networks, Human-Computer Interaction and Emerging Technologies.
