Dr. Enyia James Diwa

Engr. Dr. James Diwa Enyia is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, Nigeria. He is the current Departmental SIWES (Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme) coordinator, and also the seminar director for post graduate students. He also functions in many other departmental and faculty activities. He is a consultant in Gas Turbine Engine Performance, and an astute business Man.
Dr. Enyia has a PhD in Aerospace Engineering with his research topic as Gas Turbine Performance Enhancement through Fault Diagnostics and Compressor Cleaning, from Cranfield University, United Kingdom in the year 2017. His Master degree is in Thermal Power Engineering, specializing in Rotating Machinery Engineering and Management, from Cranfield University in the year 2012. He earlier has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cross River University of Technology, Calabar, Nigeria in the years 2008. He is a COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria) registered Mechanical Engineer, Member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Member of the Institute of Diesel and Gas Turbine Engine (IDGTE), Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), and a Chattered member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
His research interest is in Gas Turbine Performance and Operability, Internal Combustion Engines/ Air breathing Engines Maintenance and Management, AirCraft/Jet Engines Propulsion, Energy and General Power Generation and Maintenance.
